I realize I didn’t do so much but so much going on this year . Omg I feel so emotional and useless 😂. Some things made so lazy, angry, disappointed, sad, you know when those feelings attack you at the same time. It was so hard to encourage and think that “everything is okay” but life must go on. Sooner or later I will forget or have to forget  every bad things happened in my life and remember it as lessons. But, I’m okay now. Not 100% okay but I feel better. I’m trying to love myself again and understand the meaning behind every ...

Fight free radicals in your body!!

Image
Hey guys, today I will talk about free radicals and how you can FIGHT IT in your body. I know you guys have heard a lot about free radicals but today, I want to post more but still generally about free radicals. So I hope you’ll enjoy and got more knowledge from this post J         First of all, we have to know what free radical is. Free radicals are atoms or groups of atoms with an odd (unpaired) number of electrons and can be formed when oxygen interacts with certain molecules. Once formed these highly reactive radicals can start a chain reaction. This reaction can cause cell mutation, and this cell mutation can lead to premature aging, cancer, tumor, cardiovascular and other degenerative disease depending on what cells does the cell mutation happen.       Free radicals not only from outside our body like pollution, foods usually meats, drinks, radiation and uv lights but also from stress and metabolism system in o...

Why probiotics and prebiotics are important for our body?

Image
Hey guys, welcome back to my bloogg. Today I will share something about bacteria. Don’t get me wrong, this bacteria is good for our body. Its’ called probiotics. Do you want to know more about this bacteria? Yes you do!! So let’s find some more about bacteria here. Probiotics are “good” bacteria that help keep your digestive system healthy by controlling growth of harmful bacteria. Prebiotics are carbohydrates that cannot be digested by the human body. They are food for probiotics.  Do you know where is probiotic’s “home”? YES!! Probiotics live in yogurt, other dairy products and pills. In our body, probiotics live in our colon. So, what are prebiotics for? They help your good bacteria grow, improving the good-to-bad bacteria ratio. But where can you find prebiotic? It’s easy if you know where to look. It’s been said before that Prebiotics are carbohydrates that cannot be digested by the human body. So where is it? Of course it is in fruits and vegetables. Fruit and vege...

Why vitamin C is connected with tannin?

Heeyy everybody.. Welcome back to my bloogg. Today I will share something connected (well, a lil bit) with my last post. Can you guess it? YESS it is about vitamin c. Why vitamin c is connected with tannin in tea? Let’s find out here. So vitamin c, also known as ascorbic acid, in general is a water-soluble nutrient found in some foods. In the body, it acts as an antioxidant, helping to protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals. Free radicals are compounds formed when our bodies convert the food we eat into energy. So what’s the relation between vitamin c and iron? Before we go to their “relationship”, let’s talk about iron. Iron is found in food in two forms, heme and non-heme iron. Heme iron, which makes up 40 percent of the iron in meat, poultry, and fish, is well absorbed. Non-heme iron, 60 percent of the iron in animal tissue and all the iron in plants (fruits, vegetables, grains, nuts) is less well absorbed. As we know now that tannin inhibit the absorbtion of i...

Why we shouldn't drink tea TOO MUCH?

Nowadays, tea is really popular among teens and adults. Well, nice smell, nice taste and nice feeling afterward are probably the reasons to make tea as a morning routine. But, do you know what makes you shouldn’t drink tea TOO MUCH? Let’s find out the reason here. Tea contains caffeine also tannin and theanine, which are calming. The presence of these chemical compounds together in tea allows you to control its effect. When boiling water is poured onto the tea leaves, in the first two minutes all the caffeine is drawn out.  Psst, the best temperature to consume coffee and tea is 80-95 degrees Celsius because Tannin in tea can not be absorbed by the body and stick in the liver if it consumed in cold temperatures.  Back to the tea, tannin which contained by tea can inhibit the iron absorption in our body, that means it can lead to anemia if you consume TOO MUCH tea. To avoid this, will be better if you consume tea  at least 2-3 hours before or after breakfast, lunch ...
